The company was founded in March 1970 by an idea of Pierino Mugnai (Cavaliere del Lavoro), who started the activity of fish breeder specialized in the production of trout for sport fishing systems. In a few years his son Gianfranco also became part of the business, creating a real family business. At the beginning of the '80s it was Gianfranco who, exploring Eastern Europe, had the idea of creating an Import-Export trade, thus expanding the range of products and supplying the Italian fish market much more choice and quality . Today it is the son Francesco who, thanks to his passion and dedication, has taken over the rudder of the business, bringing tradition and quality throughout Europe.
